ChatGPT Says
ChatGPT answers the question: How best to include a Web Page in your page
The problem being worked on is to find a way to closely preserve the original formatting of a ChatGPT conversation.
It was recently found that ChatGPT lets you create a link to share a conversation.
The idea was to use that kind of link to embed conversations in pages on this website.
But in the end that kind of embedding is currently inhibited by the ChatGPT site.
Also saving the code of a ChatGPT page contains some kind of code that prevents display.
Digging that out for each entry defeats the idea of making it simple by doing an embed. Grr.
I had already been trying something with Word.
Copy-Paste a chat page into Word.
Do any manipulation like increasing font size. Then saving as htm.
That .htm displayed in an iframe. (you can't just copy a second page in, the CSS conflics and other problems')
It works even if horribly inefficient.
ChatGPT did suggest doing a page print to PDF and I will see how well that works,
but I have concerns that it will not do responsive scaling.
I will include a test at the end of this page.
